Privacy Policy for IR Photo Video Collage Maker

Effective Date: October 10, 2026

App Name: IR Collages

Package Name: com.inrapps.videocollage.photocollage

Contact Email: inraapps@gmail.com

1. Introduction

Welcome to IR Collages ("we", "our", or "us"). IR Collages lets you combine your own photos and videos into a single collage video. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, which permissions it asks for, and your choices, in line with Google Play Developer Policies and applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA).

By downloading, installing, or using IR Collages, you agree to the handling of information described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Core Privacy Guarantee: Your Photos and Videos Stay on Your Device

•      On-device editing: Every collage is built and rendered entirely on your Android device — layouts, trimming, speed changes, muting, music, text, stickers, filters, transitions and borders.

•      No uploads: We do not upload, store, or transmit your photos, videos, music, or captions to any server. We do not have servers that receive your media.

•      You decide what is shared: A finished collage is saved to your device's gallery (the Movies/IR Collages folder). It leaves your device only if you choose to share it with another app through Android's share menu.

•      Camera shots: If you use the camera button, the app opens your phone's own camera app; the photo or video you take is saved to your gallery (Pictures/IR Collages or Movies/IR Collages) on Android 10 and newer, or to the app's private storage on older versions. IR Collages does not request the camera permission itself.

•      Text fonts: If you pick a font under "More fonts", it is downloaded once from Google Fonts through Google Play services on your phone. The request contains only the font's name; none of your photos, videos or text is sent. Google's privacy policy applies to that download.

3. Information We Handle

A. Device Permissions

•      Photos and videos (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO; READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on Android 12 and older): Used to show your photos and videos inside the app so you can choose which ones go into a collage. On Android 14 and newer you can instead grant access to selected photos and videos only (READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED), and change that selection at any time.

•      Internet and network state (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used to load advertisements, to send app-usage statistics (see D), and to receive app settings (see E). All of this goes over encrypted (HTTPS) connections; the app does not allow unencrypted traffic. Your media is never sent over the network.

B. Music You Add

If you add background music, you pick an audio file through Android's own file picker. The app reads that one file to mix it into your collage on your device. It does not scan or upload your music library.

C. Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

IR Collages is free and supported by advertisements from Google AdMob: banner ads, and optional rewarded ads you can watch to unlock longer video clips or extra themes, or to save or share a collage once your free exports are used. AdMob may collect and process information such as:

•      Device Advertising ID (Google AAID): for ad frequency capping, fraud prevention, measurement, and, where permitted, personalized ads.

•      Device and network information: IP address, device model, operating system version, network type, and approximate (country/city-level) location derived from the IP address.

•      Ad interactions: ad impressions, clicks, and whether a rewarded ad was watched to completion.

This information is collected by Google under its own policies. You can opt out of personalized ads or reset/delete your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings -> Google -> Ads).

D. App Usage Statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To understand which features are used and to fix problems, IR Collages uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It records how the app is used — for example which screens are opened, which tools, templates and stickers are chosen, how long an export takes and whether it succeeded, and how ads perform — together with device information (model, operating system version, app version, language, country), a random app-instance identifier and, where you allow it, your device's advertising ID.

Outside the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland these statistics are collected from the start. Inside those regions nothing is stored unless you consent (see F).

It never receives your photos, videos, music, file names, captions, any text you type, or the words you spell in a photo word. The data is not used to identify you, is processed by Google under its own policies (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy), and is kept for up to 14 months.

E. App Settings (Firebase Remote Config)

The app downloads a few settings from Firebase Remote Config when it starts — for example how many exports are free and which ads are shown. To deliver them, Google receives the app-instance identifier and basic device information. No personal data or media is sent.

F. Consent (European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown and before usage statistics are stored. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices.

G. Ratings

If you choose to rate the app, the rating card is shown and handled by Google Play (in-app review). Your rating and any review go to Google Play under Google's policies; the app never sees them.

H. What We Do Not Collect

IR Collages has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or the content of your photos, videos, music, or captions.

4. How Information Is Used

1.      To provide the app: reading the photos, videos and music you select so the collage can be built and saved on your device.

2.      To show advertisements: through Google AdMob, as described above.

3.      To improve the app: usage statistics show which features are used and where exports fail (Google Analytics for Firebase).

4.      To adjust app settings without an update: through Firebase Remote Config.

5. Third-Party Services

•      Google AdMob: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543

•      Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Remote Config: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

•      Google Play In-App Review: https://policies.google.com/privacy

•      Google User Messaging Platform (consent form): https://support.google.com/admob/answer/10113207

•      Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

6. Data Retention and Security

•      Your media: We keep no copy of your photos, videos, or music. While a collage is rendering, the app writes temporary files to its private storage; they are deleted once the collage is saved to your gallery. A collage that is shared without being saved stays in that private storage briefly and is removed automatically during a later export, or when the app is uninstalled.

•      Drafts: Collages in progress are saved in the app's private storage so you can continue them later. A draft holds references to the photos, videos and music you chose (not copies of them) and your edits. Delete a draft from the Projects tab, or remove all of them by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

•      Saved collages: Finished videos stay in your device gallery until you delete them.

•      Advertising data: Handled and retained by Google according to its own policies.

•      Usage statistics: Kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months, linked only to the random app-instance identifier. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, starts a new identifier.

•      Security: Everything the app sends (ad requests, usage statistics, settings) travels over encrypted connections. Your media and drafts stay in your device's own storage, protected by Android's app sandbox.

7. Children's Privacy

IR Collages is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at inraapps@gmail.com.

8. Your Choices and Rights

•      Personalized ads: Opt out, or reset/delete your Advertising ID, at Settings -> Google -> Ads.

•      Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): Change your choices at any time in the app at Settings → Privacy choices.

•      Photo and video access: Change or revoke access at any time at Settings -> Apps -> IR Collages -> Permissions. On Android 14 and newer you can limit access to selected items only.

•      Data requests (GDPR / CCPA): We hold no personal profiles or media on any server. Usage statistics are linked only to a random app-instance identifier, not to you; to remove them, clear the app's data or uninstall it, or contact us and we will help. For advertising data, see Google's privacy tools linked above.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes or as legal requirements change. Updates will be posted here with a new "Effective Date".
